There is a suite of live music events coming up almost every day this week in music for my co-locals in Maastricht !
3S-AMI-5A is playing for PAS Festival, with an “ancient future adventure songs” take on the environment that was here 70 million years ago – Cretaceous era tropical sea !

One of our frequent collaborators is Emilie van der Waals – you have probably seen her dancing before with us.
Just like the mosasaurus, she comes from a tropical sea, her is from the other side of the world in Sint Maarten. So, inspired by her sensory memories, a conversation with a paleontologist, we will perform at the Natuurhistoriche Museum,
featuring saxophonica, dance and a double stereo song-scape with textures of sounds, melodies and beats playfully evoking the sea that was this land so so long ago.
And also-
In a scenic location, Selim the low brass Avatar and I will be ushering in spectators to a agricultural play in Vorendaal – Eldorado which is part of Cultural Nova Festival.
Before the play, we will be playing tuba and saxophone, acoustic melodies in a musical landscape which embraces wind and brass instruments. Outside and into the fresh air!
This starts today and goes until Wednesday: September 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Selim and I play from 19:30 and the play starts at 20:20 !
